Journey with us into our second decade
What started life as a party in the woods for a group of friends has mushroomed into something much bigger and much more exciting than we could ever have imagined.
Over ten years have passed since the first, inaugural, In The Woods festival, and while the world has changed, the venue and the ethos have stayed the same – we love music, we love foraging for new sounds, we look for talent over hype, we look to champion artists as they take their first steps towards the stratosphere.
Frankly, we also love the setting. It’s the perfect spot in the countryside for a weekend with your friends, enjoying music, art, short films, theatre, spoken word, great food, amazing local ales. Sharing stories around the bonfire, making great memories for another year. Beneath the forest canopy, the likes of Alt-J, Lianne La Havas, Micachu, Young Fathers, Slaves, Kate Tempest and Jack Garratt (and so many more, and counting) have all cast their spell and added to the magic of the woods.
It has become something that we are truly proud of.
